The reason I started Fred Scarf Jewelry

I’ve had a lot of success and a lot of setbacks. And I've realized that beautiful memories make the highs higher and the low points not as low.

Growing up in LA, I saw a lot of people become rich and famous and still miss the punchline. I don't think the whole point of life is to achieve some goal at the end. It's also about the beautiful memories along the way.

Years ago, I had the honor of organizing proms for teenagers with cancer. It wasn’t just a dance. It was my effort to create a beautiful memory for them during one of the lowest points of their lives.

That experience showed me the magic of beautiful memories. And that's why I created Fred Scarf Jewelry: to make jewelry that makes beautiful memories.

The most important moment in my life will be the final one, when I ask if it was all worthwhile.

It breaks my heart that life can feel so elusive. But the beautiful memories we make and the people we share them with stay with us forever.
